Key responsibilities of our Mount Morris Recreation & Parks Department is to plan, oversee, and coordinate municipal parks and recreation programs. It is also to promote the parks and recreation activities and to ensure maximum efficiency and use of playgrounds, parks, and other recreation facilities. This department partners with our Department of Public Works to ensure physical facilities are kept clean and in good repair at all times.
The Village of Mount Morris Recreation and Parks Department enhances the quality of life for local residents with a particular focus on programs for youth. Our Recreation and Parks Department seeks to provide high quality, diverse and well-planned recreational programs. It is the department’s goal to make your recreation experience an enjoyable one. Your satisfaction is our goal.
We partner with our Village Clerk's Office and Mount Morris Central School to schedule field use, facility use and special event reservations at the following parks and facilities:

We provide great programs for children – and can also serve as a resource to point you towards other recreation programs in the area. Highlights of Youth programs include:
- Summer activity program (School-aged kids kindergarten-8th grade)
- Travel Soccer (3rd-12th grade)
- Youth basketball (3rd-6th grade)
